Clinical Services
We all long for better living, quality of life and personal well-being. Since 1991 the Check-up Center of the American hospital of Paris has been exclusively dedicated to providing patients with preventive care using the most advanced technologies and up-to-date scientific recommendations for prevention and early diagnosis.
Reassurance
Even if you feel healthy and medical conditions are not you concern, a check-up is important to help you assess any risk factors and safeguard your health in consequence.
Advice
Your check-up may be an opportunity to bring up any issues you might not have had a chance to discuss with your physician.
It's aim is to identify, minimize and even eliminate any risk factors, to achieve early detection of any potential health problems and to provide custom recommendations.
Follow-up
If further care is needed, the American Hospital of Paris' expert teams and high-quality medical and technical equipment are available to provide follow-up quickly.
Risks for certain conditions and diseases are dependent on age.
An unhealthy lifestyle (tobacco use, inactivity, poor eating habits) can have an impact on your health even before you reach the age of 30. After 40, the risks of cardiovascular diseases and cancers increase. Advanced examinations will therefore target these conditions.
The Check-up Center offers tests adapted to each age and specific to gender.
You may also choose to complete your check-up with additional tests:

The American Hospital of Paris Check-up center derives it's high performance, not only from it's lengthy experience, but also from it's unmistakeable ability to draw on new, non-invasive, high-resolution imagery techniques to achieve early diagnosis of serious conditions.
Thus, early diagnosis of colon cancer can be attained through virtual colonoscopy and that of lung cancer using a pulmonary scan.
Special attention is to be given to changes in the bodies and physiology of women. Risks are different at each age. Gynecological cancer scanning is necessary after the age of 40 . Starting around ages 45 or 50, cardiovascular disease risks rise.
The Check-up center offers a range health check-ups especially designed for women's health:
New optional tests may be suggested to complement these check-ups. These exams use new non invasive high-definition imagery techniques and offer early diagnosis for serious conditions.
These techniques are used for early colon cancer screening using a virtual colonoscopy and early lung cancer screening with a pulmonary scan.
These check-ups aim at screening anomalies as early is possible, evaluating risks, and taking preventive measures. One or several check-ups can be performed, independently or as part of a check-up health program performed during women's health day.

Thanks to the generous contribution of one man, Richard Vipian, Chairman and founder of Céline, the Check-up Center of the American Hospital of Paris was founded. In 1973, as a pioneer in scientific patronage, he created the Céline-Pasteur prize, awarded each year to researchers and teams for their work and contribution to progress of health and medicine. By his contribution and continued involvement in developing the Check-up Center, Richard Vipiana has continued to support the project he initiated.
