Emblematic leaders join the Management Committee
Led by Professor Robert Sigal, who was appointed CEO last March, and his Board of Governors, the American Hospital of Paris has made significant changes to its Management Committee. Eminent figures with top-level medical and technological expertise in their respective fields have joined the hospital’s management team. These appointments are part of the hospital’s new strategy for 2018-2022, to be unveiled on January 23.
Several emblematic figures have been appointed to the Management Committee:
- Arnold Munnich, Health Strategic Advisor. A pediatrician and geneticist, he created and headed the Department of Medical Genetics at Hôpital Necker-Enfants malades, a children’s hospital in Paris, and is Chairman of the Board of Directors at Institut des Maladies Génétiques (Imagine). He was also a biomedical research advisor to the French President’s office from 2007 to 2012.
- Mario Di Palma, Director of Medical Affairs. An oncologist, he created the outpatient department at Institut Gustave Roussy. He is also Vice-Chairman of the Scientific Commission on Therapeutic Trials at Gustave Roussy and Co-President of Onco04, a regional network specializing in oncology, geriatrics and palliative care. He is a member of the French National Cancer League’s Ethical Committee.
