Financial information and billing

A few days after your consultation, a hospitalization cost estimate is sent to you.

This estimate is based on information provided by your doctor (main diagnosis, initially planned medical procedures, expected duration of stay). It does not take into account any unplanned examinations, treatments or procedures that might be necessary to ensure you receive the best and most appropriate medical care. Consequently, the estimate may differ from the final bill you receive after your discharge.

If you are covered by an international insurance policy, your country’s embassy or another organization likely to pay directly for your hospitalization expenses, you may be exempt from advance payment, subject to confirmation from our accounting department prior to your admission. Otherwise, you must pay your hospitalization expenses in full, and then submit a request for reimbursement directly to the organization providing coverage.

Many insurance policies cover expenses incurred at the American Hospital of Paris: Allianz, Aetna, AIG, AXA, BUPA, CEGA, CIGNA, Henner, ISOS, MEDIC AIR, NSIA, Previnter...
