Scanner Révolution Apex 2.0

The American Hospital of Paris features one of the best-equipped state-of-the-art imaging centers in the greater Paris region. By acquiring a latest-generation CT scanner, the American Hospital of Paris aims to elevate its excellence in several areas of imaging, including cardiology, neurology and oncology.

The Innovation-Packed Revolution Apex 2.0 CT Scanner

  • Generator designed for spectral imaging and tissue characterization (dual low- and high-energy acquisition, outstanding temporal resolution)
  • Powerful tube guaranteeing consistent image quality
  • Highest tube rotation speed on the market: dramatically reduces image acquisition time and the length of time patients are required to hold their breath
  • Detector width enhances speed and anatomical precision
  • AI solution for ultra-low dose radiation
  • Automatic protection of radiosensitive organs

Precision, a Crucial Component of Cardiac Imaging…

The American Hospital of Paris performs more than 1,300 heart scans a year. This complex exam is used to identify any narrowing in the cardiac arteries that may lead to heart attack. The Revolution Apex 2.0 CT scanner will enable us to make accurate, reliable diagnoses without the need for additional exams, even for the most challenging patients. Powerful technology combined with high rotation speed means image acquisition lasts less than a heartbeat! This produces a very high-quality image, even in patients with an overly rapid or irregular heartbeat or metabolic syndrome.

…and Many Other Specialties

The new scanner will optimize examinations of the neck vessels and cerebral arteries. Thanks to brain perfusion imaging, it will also enable prompter delivery of care to stroke patients.

Our radiologists will use the scanner’s spectral imaging to characterize abnormalities identified during the procedure, thereby improving the detection of pharynx and larynx tumors, and of metastases affecting the liver and lungs.

Lastly, the machine’s anatomical precision will make it possible to analyze very small structures such as those situated in the middle ear or the lung parenchyma.

Together, Let’s Fund the Acquisition of the New Revolution Apex 2.0 CT Scanner

The American Hospital of Paris receives no public funding from France or the United States. None of our investments in state-of-the-art equipment, which are crucial to delivering medical excellence to you, would be possible without your support. Today, in order to acquire this latest-generation CT scanner, we need you.

Our Goal: €1,500,000

Cost of CT scanner: €1,350,000
Service contract: €140,000
Installation expenses: €10,000

“We have chosen the Revolution Apex CT scanner, which offers incomparable performance levels and is one of the best machines available on the market. It will enable us to consistently perform extremely high-quality tests on all patients, regardless of the organ being examined. In addition, this scanner resolves one of our biggest concerns, because it uses radiation doses that are below the standard levels, and even lets us diminish doses locally in order to spare sensitive organs like the thyroid. And, with its wider tube and reduced rotation noise, this scanner will be more comfortable for patients. I would like to thank in advance all those who contribute to funding it.”
