Those we have loved never truly leave us. Paying tribute to a cherished loved one is a meaningful way to honor their memory and carry their legacy forward with hope.

🕯️A gift in memory is a donation made in honor of someone who has passed away, benefiting a nonprofit organization or foundation. It allows you to express your love and affection while supporting a cause that reflects their values, interests or personal story. 

Giving in memory can be done at any time – whether during a funeral, on an anniversary, or simply as a thoughtful gesture in memory of your loved one.

By giving to the American Hospital of Paris in memory of someone dear to you, you can honor their legacy while supporting the healthcare teams who cared for them – and who continue to care for patients each day.

Your donation will support initiatives that promote the well-being of our healthcare teams and improve their working environment – helping us to support those who care for others.

🧑‍⚕️You can choose to direct your donation to a specific department or care unit within our Hospital.

💌 We can also publish a tribute to your loved one in our hospital magazine, L’Américain, or discuss other ways to honor their memory at the Hospital, such as a commemorative plaque.

There are several ways to carry on someone’s legacy with hope:

• You can make a personal donation in memory of a loved one directly through our secure online donation form. Alternatively, you can make a bank transfer (please e-mail us at relationsdonateurs@ahparis.org to request our bank details) or send a cheque payable to the Fundraising Department to: American Hospital of Paris, 63 boulevard Victor Hugo, 92200 Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. You are also welcome to visit our Donor Office on weekdays, located on the first floor of Building D, opposite the Dental Center.
   

• You can organize a fundraiser among friends and family in memory of a loved one, with the proceeds going to the American Hospital of Paris.

• As a foundation recognized as serving the public interest in France, the American Hospital of Paris enables eligible donors to benefit from tax relief on their donations, subject to applicable conditions:

  - Income Tax: a tax reduction of 66% of your donation, up to 20% of your taxable income.
  - Real Estate Wealth Tax (IFI): a tax reduction of 75% of your donation, up to €50,000 per year.
  - Corporate Income Tax: a tax reduction of 60% of the donation amount, subject to the applicable limits. The annual donation threshold is €20,000 or 0.5% of annual turnover excluding VAT.

  We will send you a tax receipt as soon as possible after receiving your donation.

• If you would like to direct your donation to a specific department or care unit within the Hospital, or include a message for the team, please let us know. You can do so by filling in the relevant field on our online donation form, e-mailing relationsdonateurs@ahparis.org, calling +33 (0)1 46 41 27 97, or including a brief note with your donation.
