New Interventional Radiology and Cardiology Suite

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, in October 2018 the American Hospital of Paris opened a new state-of-the-art interventional radiology and cardiology suite.

Offer the Latest Technology to Treat Endovascular Emergencies

Open 24/7, the interventional radiology and cardiology suite is now one of our Hospital’s hallmark facilities , where cardiovascular, oncologic and gastrointestinal emergencies are handled, among others. The suite is equipped with the Philips Allura Xper angiography table.

This new space allows our doctors to perform complex, minimally invasive procedures while ensuring optimal conditions of safety andcleanliness .

In the suite, we also perform therapeutic endovascular procedures (via the arteries) using a sophisticated technique combining high-precision x-ray imaging with minimally invasive surgery.

The number of procedures performed in the suite has risen sharply thanks to the availability of outpatient treatment options that guarantee greater comfort for patients.

Project Entirely Financed by Donations

At the inauguration ceremony in November 2018, the American Hospital of Paris thanked all of the benefactors whose donations enabled the construction and installation of this suite, in particular Mr. & Mrs. Robert Fisher and Mr. & Mrs. Norbert Becker.

With this interventional suite, we now have latest generation diagnostic and therapeutic technology that allows us to adapt treatments very precisely to each patient and to each pathology.
