The American Hospital of Paris celebrates its first Generosity Week
Press Release
A Philanthropic Tradition at the Core of the Hospital’s Identity
For nearly 120 years, the generosity of donors, benefactors and patrons has enabled the American Hospital of Paris to grow, innovate and extend its renown.
Donations have been utilized to build and modernize Hospital edifices, including the future flagship building featuring a surface area of 140,000 square feet (13,000 square meters), due to open in early 2026. Donations have also made it possible to acquire cutting-edge medical equipment, develop clinical research and enhance the comfort of patients and teams.
In 2024, individual donors, patrons and business gave close to 18 million euros, confirming the general public’s enduring trust in our institution.
More than 91% of fundraising revenue was directly allocated to the Hospital’s investment projects and general missions, demonstrating its exemplary and transparent management of funds.
A Week Dedicated to Learning, Sharing and Giving
Throughout the week, a dedicated information area in the lobby of Building F will allow patients, visitors and Hospital staff to learn about our unique philanthropic history, talk with team members and, for those who wish, seal their commitment with a donation.
Guided tours will also be offered to retrace the history of generosity that has shaped the Hospital since its founding.
A Team Dedicated to Philanthropy
Philanthropy at the American Hospital of Paris is overseen by a team of six people with a range of expertise in areas such as bequests, life insurance, donor relations and major gifts.
Team members work daily to assist benefactors, guarantee the transparent use of donations and support projects to build the Hospital’s future.
