Inauguration of the Lagardère Medical Surgical Unit

On May 31 we celebrated the inauguration of our new Lagardère Medical Surgical Unit with many of our donors, Governors and medical and paramedical team members.

This ceremony was an opportunity to extend our warmest thanks to the approximately one hundred donors whose contributions financed the modernization of our emergency unit. We paid a special tribute to Arnaud Lagardère, for his impressive contribution to this project, as well as for his leadership as President of the Le Nouvel Américain Campaign.

In recognition of his exemplary commitment to our Hospital, Mr. Lagardère unveiled a new plaque in the Medical Surgical Unit, which is now named after him. He was also awarded the American Hospital of Paris Medal of Honor.
