Use of donations
As a Hospital donor, you are regularly informed about our financial results and how we use the donations we receive, through our annual report, L'Essentiel, and quarterly newsletter L’Américain. These publications keep you abreast of the many projects that are financed thanks to your generosity.
In 2023, strict cost management combined with ongoing efforts to reduce spending made it possible to allocate 94.4% of collected funds to our general missions and specific projects.
With a record number of patient admissions and positive operating income, 2023 gives irrefutable proof of our renewed growth and financial health. But due credit must also be given to the tremendous success of our capital campaign. Enthusiasm for the biggest transformation ever undertaken by our Hospital was echoed in the unrivaled number of donations we received. Our donors and benefactors gave their support with one voice, and I am truly grateful for the generosity of all. Thank you for your generosity and unfailing support!

The American Hospital of Paris has a code of ethics which guarantees optimal management practices to its benefactors.

Audits
Statutory auditors from the independent firm KPMG scrupulously verify the accounts of the American Hospital of Paris, paying particular attention to treasury operations. Our financial statements also follow the American GAAP standards for US tax purposes.
