Automated insulin delivery systems

The diabetology team of the American Hospital of Paris has started implementing automated insulin delivery systems (hybrid closed loop) for people with type 1 diabetes.

The systems still require patients to declare their meals and their physical activity, but these systems open the way to fully automated management of insulin delivery.

All of these systems offer the possibility of remote medical monitoring.

Finally, diabetic patients are freed from the constraints related to the daily management of their disease.
