International candidates
Physicians
To be able to practice at the American Hospital of Paris, physicians must obtain a medical practice authorization in France, which can only be obtained by going through the Ministry and having a diploma allowing to practice medicine obtained within the European Union. Additionally, doctors practice on a private basis within our hospital, and recruitment is based on the needs in each specialty.
Medical students
The American Hospital of Paris is a private institution and is not able to receive international medical students or doctors in specialist training outside of agreements with partner universities and hospitals.
Nursing staff
We welcome and review applications from nurses, radiology technicians, etc. provided that the candidates are allowed to practice in France (click here for more information).
Nursing internships
We only accept nursing trainees within the framework of existing agreements with nursing schools
